Back from vacation

thats awsome! I am glad you had fun and I am envious of ya Montana must be an awsome place!

Ya, I have been hangin in their myself a bit, I keep putting off my vacation I went up north 1 day to visit family and sometime next week probably I will be camping down in between my favorite small mountains in the center of the Adirondack park hopefully, weather permitting and if I can raise enough funds working for my parents while still managing to keep afloat, still decent enough.

Glad to see ya back!

Glad your back!

Looks like alot of folks are going places this summer except us..we are staying home but thats okay. The vacations sounds more tiring for some than just staying home!

Nice everything went well and you and family are home safe!

As you no doubt can tell by the vast number of posts I've written today, I'm now back from vacation and coping with jet lag.

I wrote a bit about our experiences on the plane under my Airplane Travel Resources collection here:

We're lucky that our kids travel pretty well.  The biggest problem for our youngest was motion sickness.  Our oldest is more susceptible to escalation to meltdown.

He had one incident during our week in Montana, where he was very bothered by the tourist "train" that showed us Helena.  He had trouble waiting, it was hot, and it put him into a negative spiral where he couldn't handle the sounds of the brakes and the annoying voice on the loudspeaker.  I had to keep him occupied talking about his Bionicle hobby, so he wouldn't spoil the trip for the others.  I wasn't able to get much out of the train ride, unfortunately.

Anyhow, it's good to be back home, and to get caught up with everyone here on the forum.
