Anyone live in Central Pa? Please Help!

You may be talking about Medicaid waiver program- call your states Medicaid program and ask for any and all programs your son would qualify for. I am afraid I do have to caution, I (it may just be me) I found nothing whatsoever about my son's autism, to be quick or easy, some has been needlessly bogged down with red tape and long waits...some folks who were going to get righ tback with me, I havent heard from yet.......
Good luck and feel free to vent when you need to,hi i am from Northeast Pa so we are from the same state. anyway i am wondering the same thing my daughter is almost 2 and we are just starting with this so we have insurance now but are changing to the medical card for our 2 kids. Just interesting we are from same state.

I am the mother of a recently diagnosed 4 year old autistic son.  I am trying to find a full-time daycare/school facility which is equipped to handle autistic children in the greater Harrisburg area.  We need the right care fast!  Also, talking with another parent of a friend that has an autistic child, she mentioned that there may be state and federal funding for my son to help pay for tuition, medicine and possible reimbursement of health care premiums??  Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.  This is so overwhelming!
