Probiotics..lactobacillus GG What probiotics are you using?? Is anyone using lactobacillus GG? We were told that is very good (and strong)and I have found that kirkman is selling it but only in pill form - in the special capsules that keep the probiotics alive until it reaches the gut). My son is only 3 1/2 and is not swallowing pills. I was wondering if anyone knew of a powder form that they could recommend? Thanks. Hello...is this thing on??? Hi, I'm afraid that I forget the brand of the company that I have heard about.  I did want to reply because of your question about the powder.  I used to care for a boy who needed probiotics every day.  We opened the capsules and rolled the powder around in his applesauce.  I hadn't heard about the capsules keeping them alive into the gut.  That sounds neat though.  Anyway, that worked for us.  Good luck. We use custome probiotics that was recommended from  my dd's DAN doctor because some of te other probiotics just were not effective on dd (since she has some major yeast issues).  http://www.customprobiotics.com/ It is expensive, but we use less poweder than the other probiotics we used in the past and it lasts us around 2 mos.  We have ours in strictly powder form.  It must be stored in the freezer.  The first time we gave it to dd, she had a perfect stool from her loose stools.  It has helped her ringworm go away too.
