We are in the 5th year of running worship services for children with special needs at churches in CT... Our program is called Rhythms of Grace and we have two sites. Our program includes a bible story, therapeutic play activities and Holy Communion. It is a joyful, playful time. We are trying to get the word out about our program. Anyone from CT? Hi, I'm not from CT, but am interested in how you run your program. We have a son with ASD, but are not able to attend church because people are so rude and they misundersand our son, and his needs. I have tried several times to help churches get a program up and running without success. Then again, maybe it wasn't God's time for them to have the program either. Anyway, I'd love to hear more!
