Q’s Success

That is so great and so inspiring to all of us of what our kids can do.

Thanks for posting this! That's great news.  I'm happy for you! That is great that he chose to step outside his comfort zone. That is a big
deal! Good job Quinn. We are also working on flexiblity and embracing the
unexpected at our house too!Thank you everyone....it was awesome he is starting to step out of his comfort zone and be more receptive to changes to his schedule more and more. This may not sound like much but I am on cloud 9. The other night it was Math Night at Q's school. It's an open house hat students can bring family to their classroom and play math games and do math puzzles together. Q usually does not like any change to his schedule and at first this was no exception. When I first asked him the day before if he would like to go he said "No Thanks". I let it go and the next day didn't say to much until the ride home from school. I mentioned it then held my breath and to my surprise he said ok. I thought he would protest and say "I don't want to" or "Why do they want to have that tonight" or "I just want to stay home and relax". He didn't. He asked what time we were leaving and got ready when I asked him to and went with no problem. I was on cloud 9.

That's awesome!! I think every little victory is always important so keep sharing! Excellent News!
