tax prep ??Hi, does anyone know if I can list my child who has a medical diagnosis of Autism be classified under a child w/ a disabilty when asked in the fed. tax forms ? thanks Not sure where you are from but in Canada you are eligible for a tax break when you have disabled child(ren) It's also retroactive so the first time you file after a diagnosis you get back pay from birth to present.. Yes, your child is disabled so you can say yes on the tax forms. Not sure what benefit there is to doing so, but...Im still waiting to file my taxes, but with a diagnose of pdd-nos should I go ahead and list the disability as well? THis is all new to us? |
