Talked with Detective

	I just wanted to post an update on the situation. I finally met with a dectective this morning. I had ended up finally calling them last week. I was to meet w/him Friday morning but he had a search warrant come up. He basically asked me if I wanted to press charges or not. I told him no. I just want someone to talk with the parents and make sure they are aware of this. I told him I was advised by the school deputy to not talk to the parents or child. He said he was going to talk to them and go over what had been reported. I've told my son that a police officer is going to be speaking with this boy and his parents. My son asked if the officer was going to talk to him and was he in trouble? I told him that he had done nothing wrong, but this other boy had. He asked if this boy was going to jail? I said no, but he has to learn never to do this again. I explained that if an adult had done this to a child then the adult would go to jail. My son doesn't bring this up unless I do. I just wanted to thank everyone again for their posts. I appreciated all the input. It was also good to type my thoughts out. I have told very few people about what has happened.   I hope that things turn out for the best. Stay strong! And thanks for keeping us posted - I've been wondering what happened.
