Potty Update IILOL All kids must get together somehow and teach each other how to do this...lol How awesome about the potty!! Let us know how it went after school. Karrie Awesome news!Congrats BB I had a nighttime bed wetter with my dd and she was very upset about having to wear a pull up at night (her inner battle w/big girl v. little girl) and the underwear under the pull up worked wonders for us also. It started as a compromise but ended up being the trick that stopped bed wetting! Gotta love happy accidents! That's great news! I can so relate to you on the "one speck of urine on the undies and need to change thing" - that's my guy all the way. That is fantastic. Keep up the good work BB!I'm pretty psyched. Also anxious to see what happened at school today! I wish my kids respected the one person on the potty idea. I always have visitors with me! Let us know how school goes. OH...I didn't say he does not barge in on ME! He just won't let us in while HE is going now! He leans on me and tries to push me off the toilet sometimes! So, BB is rockin the potty world. In underwear and not wanting to wear his nightime diaper now! Not sure what to do about this one as he is not ready for an overnight without so we have been able to get him into it, but he tells us that he will wear them only if he gets his underwear in the morning! He is going in by himself now! He still needs prompts, but now he does not want any assistance in there. His exact quote is "Only one person in the potty at a a time." Holy sh*t (no pun intended). Think the boy was ready? Today we sent him off to school with explicit instructions for his teachers...NO PULL-UPS YOU LAZY BASTARDS...or something like that. We shall see how well they follow through. Keep your fingers crossed! Awesome cam! One thing you could try is having him wear his underwear with a pull-up over it at night? We have done that with both kids and it helped a lot. Be forewarned - you may be up more in the night than you wanted to be - because they will feel the wetness a lot more. And, if he's wanting changed if that happens, you will be up. Just a thought! Great! I like how you told the school. Lazy bastards lol!!! I am so proud of you little guy!Around here they really seem to drill in the concepts of "1 person in the bathroom / stall at a time" and "privacy" at school. I used to have little visitors in the bathroom, but no more! I'm NEVER alone in the bathroom. My 8 year old is the only one who will stay out on his own. Anthony gets kicked out. Dominic is always trying to get in the shower with me. So is DH for that matter LOL. DH said it's because I'm the only woman in the house, everybody wants my attention. Also, Dominic is at the curious stage where he wants to know what I'm doing on the potty and tries very hard to pry my legs open to have a look - YIKES! I second that "knocking on wood" lady. He wipes, but...not real well :) We clean him up a little extra when he is done As re: the dirty diapers...yeah...this is more than a little better eh?! |
