Great smile and social referencing.She is getting so big! I love the cake!She really liked it, we kept it simple, and short, we followed her lead. She had her face painted like a cat, but it had rubbed off by the time we had cake. She didn't interact much but she wasn't hiding either. We went to the beach after cake and she walked up and down picking things up for a few hours, while the extended family swum. Minor meltdown during transitioning throughout the day, but overall quite good. You would barely have known it was the same child as last years birthday. She was hysterical when people tried to sing or gather or interact... I think the risperdal played a big part. But Sharlet has also matured socially a little too, I'm not taking that away from her. It was a really nice day and I'm very happy. I just can't believe she's 4!OMG the accents Allegra. I'm moving to Australia. I would love to be surrounded by people who speak like that as opposed to the "angry new yorker/stressed college student" hehe. Also, LOVE Nina going for that balloon cake topper. too cute! Sharlet looked like she loved the attention! That's a huge step, especially if you said she hated it last year. Sounds like the risperdal, maturity and you working your butt off are really doing the trick! They do grow up fast, she is so cute. Happy Birthday Sharlet.  What a sweet video:) I absolutely love the accent..mine is all Texan:) The baby sneaking candy off the cake was adorable:) Sharlet looked to be very happy with all the people and the singing...THAT is so huge and a big hurdle for us at that age.
