What do you think?

Clap  Great job Lukey!!!

Potty training is really hard.  I still have yet for AJ to go PooPie on the toilet.  He knows when he is going, but he won't lemme touch him or anything.  He does, however, go pee-pee.  Hey say Jean?  How did you get him to go in the toilet?  Doesn't he get really upset when you touch him while he is in the process?

At preschool I have been getting Lukey to sit on loo, but first got him use to the toilet and surrounding around it(Took a few months). For the first 2 months when I sat Lukey on the loo he would cry and I would only give him 30 seconds and take him off the loo and got him to flush the toilet hand over hand(Doesn't seem to worry him). I have taken actual photographs of things he does at preschool and one of those is an actual picture of the toilet. I thought I thought I would try and see if he would hold the picture while sitting on the loo and on friday he sat on the toilet for well over 3 minutes no crying or fussing, I even left the bathroom for a few seconds and he was still sitting on the toilet and did a little wee .

His mother has started with him yet but she said since I've started he has been touching the toilet seat, which hopefully she will start training in the summer.

I wish you great success! We are no where near doing anything with the bee boy potty in a consistent way. At times he thinks it great fun and at other times he runs like the wind. He has had poo poo in the potty on several occasions- but he never initiated it............

Keep us posted!

I love the word 'loo' for toilet.   Makes it sound like an amusement ride or something!  "Step right up and ride the LOO!  Thrills and fun for everyone!"

Luke, too, has pooped in his little potty a few times (like this morning!) but I have to pick him up and carry him to it, and place him on it, then gently talk to him while he's crying and pooping.  It must feel odd to sit down to poop when one is used to doing it standing in one's pants!  I'm hoping to start potty training for real at the beginning of next year.  I'm hoping that Luke will get a few more words/gestures in him before beginning a real potty program.
