Tic resources

Here's my beginning collection of tic resources.  If a link doesn't work, try and remove any blank spaces from the address.  If it still doesn't work, let me know.

http://p069.ezboard.com/ftourettesyndromenowwhatfrm5.showMes sage?topicID=134.topic - "Tourettes vs. Autism:  Stims, stereotypies and tics", a collection of resources from tables and information from various medical sources, gathered by a member of the Tourette's Syndrome Message Board.

http://www.planettic.com/tic.asp?menu=students&sub=activ ities&sec=tic - "Click a tic", a cartoon/audio demonstration of various types of tics.  Lots of other resources for students, parents, and teachers, too.

http://www.cidpusa.org/PANDAS.htm - PANDAS stands for "pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections."  Here's a frequently asked questions article about it, which says not just tics but also obsessive-compulsive behaviors can have a sudden onset or explosive increase due to strep.

Any resources to add?

NorwayMom39461.3022569444No resources to add, but I just want to thank you again for all your links.  What would I do without them?

Haven't looked at this yet, but it is of special interest to me because my son was diagnosed as having PANDAS, and I just don't buy it.

I will let you know what my DX is after reading links!
Thanks for reminding me about PANDAS.  I added my FAQ link to the tic resources collection.Tic severity checklist, with a list of common tics.
