A great Christmas for my son Isn't it a great feeling when they show that things are making sense to them? What a good feeling that must have been!! Hurray for you all!   OH GOSH!!  What wonderful news!!  You must be soooo overjoyed!  It's just a shame that your post is here because it's not getting enough views and I know that more people here would love to know about this update!  I am just SOOOOOO excited for you!  YAY AUSTIN!!!  This is such a HUGE step in the right direction. Congrats!! Karrie Now that the holidays are over and the hippe is over I thought it was a good idea to let you all know how well Austin is doingand how well he did over the holidays. before he went to the foster home near the end of October, it was moment by moment life of unknowns with him you never knew if he was going to start physicaly attacking you, or distroying the house. Durning the holidays he was able to spend 4 days and three nights at home and durning this time there was nto one outburts, even when his younger brother really got on his case, it was kind of funny when his brother Jordan actually started physically attacking him he used his words and told him to stop when he saw I was busy with my hand up a turkey butt lol he put his brother in a hold and said I will let you go when you can show me you are nto going to hurt me or yourself. WOW holly s*&t these words coming from him, as well as he told his brothers tht he and them need to help me out more and be nice to me casue I am all they have. He is actually seeing and hearing he's starting to see that there is moe then just him its amazing. I told him I was so proud of how well he behaved and that I will talk with his case manager about having him spend a few nights a week here until he is back for good. Its a great step forward for him, and hopefully it will keep going forward. Overall a great x-mas for him now to just work on his 5yr old brother. I'm so happy for you... seems like things are heading in the right direction.
