YOUR daily healing protocol? omega3,etc.

Ok I am giving my son quite a few things already and we haven't even gotten in to see the DAN doc yet.
  • Omega 3 (Coromega- lemon/lime flavor)
  • Cod Liver Oil (Carlsons -lemon flavor-liquid)
  • Coconut oil daily in cooking and on food before serving
  • Daily multi-vitamin mineral complex (Country Life,Tall Tree-Tropical flavor chewables)
  • Gluten Free/Casein Free diet
So I am wondering what everyone else's daily protocol is.
As far as supplements go, all we're doing right now is Super Nu Thera and DMG.  No diet yet.Daniel/Rachael take lots of supplements we both do better on them then with out. We also do a high protein diet also. Have you found them to be helpful?

Gluten/casein free diet plus digestive enzymes including nofenol

omega3 - coromega

evening primrose oil

acyclovir (antiviral- for 2 years)

pfeiffer morning multivitamin

pfeiffer primer at night (has the zinc) plus extra zinc drops

Vit A, C, D (not so much at the moment whilst it is summer)

yeast aid

acetyl L carnitine

MT promoter II  (a means of encouraging natural chelation- pfeiffer protocol)

about to start threelac

about to start chelation with footsies and metaldtox and cilantro

We have noticed huge changes in doing all of this, so it is worth it.

PS make sure your multivitamin has no copper in it and high zinc levels. Is it for autism

Our regimen 4 years ago when Dan docs were fairly new:

  • DMG
  • SUPERNUTHERA(not very sucessful in getting it in her:P)
  • FISH OIL (for delayed speech and delayed myelin)
  • ENZYMES (special occasions)
  • NYSTATIN FOR YEAST
  • GLUTITHIONE TO DETOX(high lead)
  • 100% GF/CF DIET(high proteins to both wheat & casien)
  • VB/ABA 30 hours a week in home.
  • 2 hours of private speech therapy
  • 11 hours of kinderkids~2 teachers/8kids and our ABA therapist to shadow her
  • ABA playgroup 2x a week 3 hours total

She was one busy little girl! By time she started kindergarten we were able to stop most things..we ended everything the end of last year before summer..first break in 4 years and she is doing awesome totally mainstreamed for both kindergarten and first grade. I now have her in gymnastics and she loves it:)  I believe all helped her in little ways..ABA gets the most credit though in teacher her how to learn...all the other things made it easier for her to attend: )

No regrets:)

My oldest who is 15 and doesn't have autism but has ADHD/mood disorder/severe depression and all of the underlying biomedical issues that usually come with autism....ie, severe oxidative stress, gluten and casein intolerances (has responded incredibly to digestive enzymes) and more than likely heavy metal toxicity:

1000 mg Evening Primrose Oil gel caps

Vitamin C

Vitamin D

100 mg Pycnogenol

My oldest takes heavy duty meds, and since I convinced him to try the Digestive Enzymes (I told him he could do that or the gfcf diet, lol) he has been able to discontinue one of his meds already   He's only been taking the Enzymes for a week and a half and he's not taking Seroquel any longer so he can sleep!!!  Yippeee!!!  I can't wait to see how they will affect him over the long run.

We take Nordics 369...It is high in DHA and Omega's. It is GFCF as well. I noticed a huge diff. in my older son as far as attention span goes w. his ADD. Our son w. Autism just started this along with some other things. We saw a DAN dr about 2 months ago and we were not happy with them. However, they do not follow the DAN protocol. I went to the DAN conference in LA this year and learned sooo much. I recommend going to anyone. Alot of info and your brain will hurt but a good experience.

We are seeing another on at the end of the month who was a very long waiting list and this time I interviewed them b4 spending more money. The 1st visit w. testing ran us 1200.00. Hopefully this pays off as his college fund is being spent already!

We are taking our other son w/ ADD to a DAN dr to. I have not put him compltley on the GFCF diet but have limited his intake on milk.

Sevenup! What a blessing to find that Doctor! I hope he can help you and your children.

I need to get my list to put down what my girl gets daily:

Candex, Nystatin, occasional Diflucan or Ketoconazole, Brainchild's new Yeast fighters (cell food, biocidin, grape, garlic, pau de arco) all for yeast/bacteria.

  • Learning Factors Supplement (covers immune system/brain "enhancing" vitamins-comes in berry flavor and is a milk shake) Was doing a number of New Beginnings "ASD starter vits" but they were too harsh for my 3 yr old)
  • Carlsons Liquid Norway Cod Liver Oil-lemon flavor
  • MB12 injections every three days
  • Probiotic
  • GF diet (was CF -but recently tested and added back in with no negative results)
  • 25 hrs ABA/VB (center based)
  • Soon to add 3 hrs in-home ABA and/or playtime with typical peers
We have 4 children on GFCF diet.
They do get vitamins, lots of C and zinc  if they are sick, and I hope to start CLO soon.  They also take probiotics whenver they get sick. $ has been a huge issue for us in this area.  I do believe many of these things could help but the money is just not there!
We just found a DR that used to be DAN but is not anymore.  He still follows some protocol.  He is a Ped Neuro.  Thankfully, he takes our insurance for our bio's and medicaid for our adopted ones.  We will take all 4 to see him next month, but we already started attending his autism support group.
Dmae didn't help Daniel he got more hyper with it. May I ask what is dmg? Daniel is still on vitamins but we just added Concerta 18 mg so far it's helping with no sideeffects at all. The protocol didn't help with the impolsive behavior. The new np we saw wants him on biofeedback/cognetive therapy/fastforward. He says he can stop the medacine at adulthood. He also is asking for home St help from school for home help as well. He had nystanin already also. Where do you get the igg powder at? He has no gut issues thank god! He says Se except for SS/Science could help also.

About DMG:

I bought the IGG powder from Dr Bock's office. When I did a search on his website, it wasn't listed but when I called the number there, they said they did have it and sent it to me. Here is the website:
