I listened to a man about asd and he said o starches for our kids. I also was given a list of other things to try. Only a wealth off person could try it all. I know the healthier we all eat is better. Alternative foods can be high and some are nasty even. I have talked with a lady who has only 1 kid and took her son to Mexico and saw a dr. there his isn't asd it's a TBI and all they have tried has made little change. Her son is 14 now. Still way behind she says. Her last thing to try is the stem cell way. My guess her chemo is what could of messed up her son. She got pregnant while haveing Cancer. To me she's looking for a cure. This lady has tried lots of the stuff to fix it all.  My thing is don't we have to except the child as is so they except who they are also. I know none here are not excepting. Yes, being special is hard but in some ways I enjoy the difference! Our daugther is harder for me to relate to cause I know no oter way but daniel and othe kids Se way of life.

You are right that some of the treatments are very expensive, especially if you aren't sure if it will be effective.  Every child is unique in their health issues.  This is why so many use reputable knowledgable doctors who are educated in the DAN methodolgy.  They look at lab results and cater the treatment specifically to your child.  In the US, the lab tests and some of the treatments are covered by some health insurance.

I feel for that mother you spoke of.  As parents, I think we are looking for the best treatment for our children to give them a good chance at a happy and healthy life.

This Free Seminar will be very educational.  Here is the blurb about it on the flyer:l

OXIDATIVE STRESS is the result of an imbalance between oxidants

(encountered in the environment or naturally produced by the body as an ordinary byproduct of living cells) and antioxidants provided by diet or produced naturally by the body. Research demonstrates that the bodyfs production of oxidants is increased in many people with autism, while the bodyfs ability to produce antioxidants that combat this effect is diminished. This imbalance has been associated with worsening of core autistic symptoms, and treatment has been shown to lead to improvements.

Furthermore,  inflammation in areas of the body, such as the brain and gastrointestinal tract, are more common in individuals with autism, and also may play a role in the symptoms of autism. Testing for and treating oxidative stress and inflammation may be an important factor in improving the health and behaviors of persons with autism.

DR. ROSSIGNOL WILL REVIEW RECENT, PEER]REVIEWED MEDICAL RESEARCH THAT SUPPORTS THE TREATMENT OF THESE UNDERLYING MEDICAL ISSUES that CAN RESULT IN IMPROVEMENT OF THE CONDITION OF PERSONS WITH AUTISM.
