I know this may be a stupid question. However, I don't know what all the initials stand for. what is "dx"?? I am catching on to some of the initials, but not ALL of them. Is there some kind of dictionary for dummies like me?
This may help. THe Dicttionary for parents of children with disabilities is being worked on, but a useful site.

This is a list of some of the abreviations that you will frequently see in autism lists and chat groups. This list was posted to a list and I just picked it up, so I take no credit for it, just here for anyone who might like to know!
Thanks Jean!
I can not say I absorbed "all" of it, but it helps to know what people are talking about, and be able to focus more on the issues than the initials. (lol) All of this is so so soooo overwhelming. I keep trying to find out more and more so that I am better equipt to fight for AJ's rights! I can't thank you ALL enough!!!
