Kindergarten report from teacher | Autism PDD

That's great! He sounds like he is doing so well. I am really seeing differences from the ABA with my son. I too, hope it pays off well. Keep up the great work.Yay!  Way to go.  We have Dooder's kindergarten conference on Thursday and I'm on pins and needles! We had a parent conference with our sons Kindergarten teacher today and
we were blown away at how well he is doing in school. My son has an
advanced proficient in Reading and Math. Proficient in Writing and Language
Conventions. He has a partial proficient in Listening and Speaking. He does
need to improve in the areas of penmenship, sentence structure. I am so
happy for my son right now. He has worked so hard. All those hours of ABA
are paying off. This from a child who did not know his name at 2 1/2. He
not only knows his name at 6, but can spell, read and write it. I know its
only Kindergarten, but it is looking like we are on the right path as far as
education is going.

Your son's hard work paid off.  But let us not forget that you were probably working hard too.

Here's to you

Great news.  Thanks for the positive post.  I love these...and when moments get rough...I remember these.
