Different Roads to Learning carries books and products for ABA and VB/ABA.
Also, I came across a therapist's web site that explains VB/ABA and ABA. If you go to the bottom of the first page, there are several links including Getting Started. Several books are recommended.

There is a book that came out in May called The Verbal Behavior Approach. It is a step-by-step guide for .95. I haven't personally read it, but it looks good. Here is information about the book:

Specifically looking for books that can teach me about ABA - I'm doing a therapists course in a few weeks and with the costs here in Aus being out of the reach of just about everybody, I am hoping i can learn some strategies to do at home.
Shelley - I think Let me hear your voice was the first book I ever read after lachlans diagnosis!
Thanks everyone,
Mysh

Mysh

www.mariposaschool.org There is a complete training manual online there for Verbal Behavior if that's the type of ABA you're interested in.Hi all,
This is my first post to this message board. I am Mary Lynch Barbera and I am the mother of an 11-year-old son with autism. I'm also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and have worked with hundreds of children with autism since 2003. In May, I published my first book entitled "The Verbal Behavior Approach: How to Teach Children with Autism and Related Disorders." I saw that someone had recommended my book on this message board which is why I visited the site and am posting now.
This ABA book was written from both my perspective as a parent as well as a BCBA. It is very parent-friendly and has received numerous endorsements and reviews. See my web site for more information and to read the endorsements: www.vbapproach.com.
The book is particularly helpful for parents of children who are not conversational. I get emails like the one below from parents often. Please email me through my web site if you have any questions. I look forward to continuing to belong to this message board.
Here is an email from the sister of my husband's friend who suspects that her 2-year-old has autism:
I received an e-mail from Mary Barbera, and her book arrived yesterday. It is a Godsend. I had to basically make myself go to sleep last night and stop reading it...... Mary’s book lets me know what I can do NOW as his parent to not waste time while I wait to get him in to doctors/psychologists/neurologists. It’s what I was looking for, and has eliminated a lot of my anxiety.
Welcome, Mary. I'm looking forward to reading your book soon.
