It is great to hear school is going well! AJ has his first day of speech today. I just hope all goes well. She did say she has been bitten and kicked and you name it from others. She also said there might be a lot of crying to begin with. However, I KNOW AJ catches on to sign rather quickly. She said if AJ does not cooperate with her, she will ask me to go into the other room. I am excited and nervous at the same time. IF I hear any crying, I might hafta break the door down to see what it is he is crying about.
Our first session went grrrrrrreat! I already know how to sign a bunch of animals AND that was ONLY a 1/2 hour session. Oh yeah, she is good! I FEEL really comfortable with her, too. AJ was figthing not to sign fish, and she said she "thinks" he is gonna be more verbal than sign. I will be practicing with him here at home, too. I say the word as I sign, and MAKE him sign it with me. Will be starting today after his nap...poor widdle fella needs to have some FUN, too. We go twice a week (Tues & Thurs). This is gonna be quite the learning experience for BOTH of us.
