b6 and behavior?? | Autism PDD

for those of you whose children got hyper/wild, etc. with b6, could they handle the b6 even at 100% rda?

i'm the one with the kid peeing in his pants and laughing, i'm at my wits end. it hit me yesterday that when i gave him b6 approx a year ago he was crazy...peeing included. i really beleived it ended by totally ignoring it..now i'm wondering.

anyway, i have always given him a chewable (poly-vi-sol) script vitamin and recently ran out and decided to try the flinstones which has 100% of the b6..any ideas, last year it was GNC b6 50mg 2500% rda and i think i gave him half??

i stopped the flinstones yesterday and he was calmer last night but he just pee'd on the way home, everytime i think it's over he does it and my heart drops.

thanks for reading,

Does the B6 make some kids more hyper and pee more?  I gave my son a few very small doses of it and it seemed that was the case and he even pooped his pants which he has not done in a long time.  He is 3 and does not have a diagnosis just some features so I thought I would give it a try but it does not seem to be the right thing for him.

However, the Omega 3's do.  Does anyone know what the dosage should be for a 3 year old who weighs about 36 lbs.

Thanks

I don't think he does it on purpose.  I think sometimes he just waits to long.  He has been potty trained for about  4 months he is 3.5 yrs old.

I have read that the flintstone vitamins contain some sugar ect.  I buy the gummy vites which I read contain no sugars or preservatives?  Don't know if it's right but he seems to do real well with it.

maybe i should elaborate, my son has been potty trained for 2 years and does this to get a rise out of us, he did it last sept. and it lasted 2 weeks, started this sept and is still going on?? do you think your son pooped in his pants on purpose? this is very deliberate with my son and i guess i would call it wild/agressive for him..??

some parents state that when given the b6 they get more hyper,etc...i'm hoping for him this is what has happened....so far he did it about 4 times within 1 hour....god help me, i hope tomorrow is better..

btw, it has been 2 days w/o the flinstones, any thoughts, anyone?

I read that if you're giving B6 you should also give magnesium. The magnesium is supposed to help calm them. I tried both for about 6 months and might try the Super Nu Thera instead. I'm working on her diet and giving her probiotics right now, so I want to wait.
