I have been asked to teach the martial arts to a youngster approx 10 years old. I know very little about autism and any suggestions you might have would be appreciated! I see this as a chance to make a difference in this childs life.
I have teaching the martial arts for approx 12 years and have never had such a request. I hope to prepare adequately for this endevor.
His father states he has limited commuication skills and low coordination skills, along with a short attention span.
