Progress being made.... The social and emotional are key! That is such great news! Good Job!Wow--that's great. Having social/emotional as a strength is wonderful. You do have to celebrate the successes as you go along. It sounds like you are on the right path with your son.
It is evaluation time. My son's lead ABA therapist just completed
her portion of his 6 month eval for Language, Cognition and
Social/Emotional. I am so happy to say that at 29 months he scored 24
months in Social/Emotional. (and I thought his OT was joking the other
day when she said that social/emotional was his strength). He no
longer qualifies for services in this area.He also went from 6 months to 12 months in Language. He is consistantly using his four signs and is more interested in communicating these days. Cognition he grew but not as much as I would have liked him to but he needs something to qualify for services. lol. Just wanted to share with people who understand how happy I am right now. I know he has a very long way to go but he is making progress. Very exciting! He's making wonderful progress. |
