It is evaluation time. My son's lead ABA therapist just completed
her portion of his 6 month eval for Language, Cognition and
Social/Emotional. I am so happy to say that at 29 months he scored 24
months in Social/Emotional. (and I thought his OT was joking the other
day when she said that social/emotional was his strength). He no
longer qualifies for services in this area.
He also went from 6 months to 12 months in Language. He is
consistantly using his four signs and is more interested in
communicating these days. Cognition he grew but not as much as I
would have liked him to but he needs something to qualify for services.
lol.
Just wanted to share with people who understand how happy I am right
now. I know he has a very long way to go but he is making
progress.
