I think that is wonderful! I also think a little "spoiling" is a good thing

Great Mommy moment Congratulations!

Thank you all for sharing in my proud mommy moment. I truly wished Christian was able to understand what this is about and get some much needed encouragement for this wonderful achievement. I will frame it and hang it on the wall so that he can see that we are so proud of him.

Whenever my NT daughter (now 13) brings home a certificate or award, she always asks "so what am I getting for this". She expects to be rewarded for her accomplishments. She's been dropping hints lately that she has all "A's" in her classes. Which translates into "Mom I like the Sidekick Phone". Chris on the other hand is "yes, yes - can I play my PlayStation now?".  

 

 

Wonderful! Great job! You should be very proud of him (and i know you
are)! thats awsome, I got it once myself in 4th grade, took quite a bit of hard work, it payed off. Congrats!!!

Just wanted to share that yesterday, my sweetie pie (Christian) was awarded Student of the Month at school. He got a certificate and it was broadcast throughout the whole school (each class has a TV). I am so proud of him. He seems nonplussed about the whole thing and he probably doesn’t know what it means but he is making some progress socially and he is really trying academically. The ESE Specialist left me a voice mail that he will also be awarded Student of the Month for ESE today. It is really nice because so many of the staff and teachers applaud him. They really do want to see him make progress. I’ve got to say that he is rather spoiled by all of them. He has them wrapped around his little fingers as he has me.

YAY Christian!!  How exciting!  Enjoy the moment Mommy!    And congrats!awww yay Christian! Congratulations!! That is so wonderful!
