Pragmatics ProfileDoes anyone know how to read this profile? They only gave me raw scores, but it appears to me that Adam, who will be 13 in December scored at below a 5 year old level, however they told me that the scores were "raw scores" Does that make a difference? He scored 70 by his English teacher and 63 in special ed. The scores show age 5.0-5.5 core >99 for his age the score should be >142.
I think I was told a raw score is just his score. His points out of maximum points. Then they do something called a T-score (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called) where they take all the scores and average them out getting a T-score. They take the highest score and the lowest score and get an average based on that. Almost like a curve on a test score. I hope I'm not misleading you though, maybe someone will have more info for us. |
