That is a wonderful idea Jacks mum gave... and I am very sorry for your loss as well! Poor little guy, missing the rest of his family!

lots of reasurance and let him talk to them on the phone if that is possible.If you know they will be back in 3 days make him a chart so he can cross out the days with a picture of them on the day they return so he has a visual clue to see that there is time between but they will return
My condolances for the loss. I think that Jacks Mom gave some great ideas. Perhaps you could also get some stratigies from his therapist?
