don't they say with most medications/vitamins it takes at least two weeks to be "in" your system?
I'm not sure...we aren't doing any diet/vitamin/medication with our son
yea, that is why I am thinking almost three months of this and its not doing anything... I think it might be time for meds. I dont want to do it but if it will improve the quality of life for him then its worth it we are doing all natural stuff per the counselor. ie, natural vitamins, some calm child natural stuff and she wants me to do as much organic stuff as possible. that is such an incredibly hard decision! I have no idea what to say not knowing your child and his/her struggles. If you think it is bad enough that it warrants medication than only you know that ...

I'm thankful we haven't had to make that decision (yet) and hope we don't! It is a hard thing to do

Always always do the best for your child! Good luck!
thanks! I know dh and I will think about it alot more and discuss with the doctor before making any final decisions but he is downright scary when he has fits of rageMeds are not always a bad thing...it's just not the first thing you want to try. We have had Payne on meds since he was 3...he's 7 now and it was the best decision. It has improved his quality of life tremendously.

Yea I agree...It depends on what exactly you are talking about. Some things are ok to continue...but others that are making your life miserable are not.  So a lot of this would be your choice.

It really depends on what therapies you're trying...ie GFCF/ ABA/ etc... do you try something new before deciding it doesnt work? the counselor my son is working with is full of natural ideas and such but I havent seen much progress at all with any of her suggetsions. The only thing I have noticed is with the cod liver oil that might have helped with some things..  I don't want to give up too soon but its been almost three months now
