I am lucky with this one. noah will take a regular chewable vitamin I am at my wits end trying to find a vitamin my daughter will take. She was ok with gummy vites for awhile, but has now dropped them from her approved list.I think it is a sensory issue with the gumminess. I need to get nutrition in this child!

Any ideas?

Hmm, we do gummies and haven't tried anything else.  What if you refigerated them?  They'd be a little less sticky.

I'm sure someone will have great advice for you!  Good luck!

Pediasure is what we use for Payne when he isn't wanting to do the gummies or the Flinestones type. Linda,
Do those liquid vitamins have any flavor? Like I said, Sara will only drink Water.
She will know if it spiked
Well I haven't tried the kindermins, but it says it can be put in cereal, so if it can mix with milk I would think it would be mild and could mix with other things, I keep thinking applesauce.  I do not know if it is colorless. I don't think its totally tasteless, it says pleasant tasting, so I don't know. I bought another one that got bad reviews for taste on that site, I found  the reviews after I ordered the vitamins. And I do not think it is bad at all, it does have taste and color, but it tastes like a berry flavored vitamin C to me and hides well in juice. I am going to try the kindermins once this bottle is gone. The other thing you can do is divide the dose up. That's what I do. The boy's is 1/2 t a day and I put 1/4 t in 8 oz of juice twice a day. You could divide that up so it is a very small amount in her water 2 or 3 times a day instead of once and it might be so diluted she won't  especially since the reviews all said I have a picky child. I know I have tried countless vitamins. I didn't see the price, but it might be worth trying. Linda1156739385.362349537We put the multivit drops into her juice and she doesn't have a clue.Which multivit drops?

I remember the poly vi sol drops from when she was a baby. There is no way in heck she would take that.

She won't drink anything other than water. Flavored medicines she can do though. Like grape or Cherry Tylenol.

What about the "Vita-ball" kind (bubble gum vitamins)???  I've never tried them, but it may be worth a shot for you!

Good Luck!

Hi   My son will only drink water as well. He is going to be 4 years old in 2 weeks. We give him liquid vitamins. Nature's Plus  Animal Parade liquid. It is tropical berry flavor.  He takes it every day without a problem. He wont touch anything flavored otherwise except for medicine. We used to do the poly visol prior. Then he stopped that , and I was glad because it doesnt smell great. I know I wouldnt swallow that.We had a similar problem with our son.  We use a vanilla flavored vitamin supplement and mix it with milk and add organic chocolate syrup.  My son loves it and has 2 a day.

*Try IntraKID (cherry flavored) liquid vitamin

I have been adding liquid vitamins to my daughters milk, (cherry flavored) that might work for your daughter.  Just add to her water.  Maybe try one drop a first so she can hardly taste it and slowly add more until you reach the recommended dose.

IntraKid is a liquid vitamin through www.druckerlabs.com.  I ordered them b/c my cousin, (a chiropractor) was raving about how good they are.

Good luck! Beth

My older son will only drink water too!  Iused to put supplements in his OJ and one day he stopped cold turkey.

He loves ketchup so I sneak Child Essence in to his food wherever I can.  I also sprinkle his cereal with flax seed b/c he won't touch fish oil.  He won't take Flinstones, Gummis or any of that so if you find something that works in water let me  know :)  I think I tried sneaking some homeopathic mood calmer in t his water and he knew right away.  Now he asks for "plain water"!

Rhino brand makes ones like jelly beans, rather than gummi bears. Maybe
she'll take those?

Also, many of the kids and toddler snacks available from whole foods are
truly fortified within an inch of their life. Check the labels on oatmeal,
low sugar cookies, and fruit bars. you'd be surprised!MamaKat39384.5113657407

WOW I FINALLY HEARD OF ANOTHER KID THAT WILL ONLY DRINK WATER. THATS ALL MY 5 YEAR WILL DRINK. I STILL GIVE HIM THE POLY DROPS BECAUSE I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY OTHER LIQUID VITAMINS. GOOD LUCK

Try mannatech's gummies. The ones here have to much sugar/cornsyrup. In the past Daniel thought is was candy and over ate them. Try some v8 drinks they are healthy also. [QUOTE=melomo83]

I was going to suggestion those. I remember as a kid having them as my vitamins. They were awesome and the flavor wasn't bad at all.

How about takeing supplements with clear flavoered waters or clear flavored koolaids. Daniel loves these both.

My kids will not take any kind of supplement, don't eat any candy other than chocolate, and know if I spike their juice with medicine. So no vitaballs or jelly beans or gummies. They only drink watered down applejuice. I use liquid vitamins, they do not know they are in there. Here is a web site with vitamin reviews. http://www.nutritionaltree.com/reviews/children/vitamins/her balife_kindermins.aspx

I am not currently using kindermins but I plan on trying them when my bottle runs out. Sounds like you can hide them in anything.
