As we are all concerned about the families being evacuated because of the Californing fires, we want our members to know our thoughts and concernsa are with all of you.

This thread has been started for asd families who have had to evacuate so they can find resources for help. Anyone with additional resource information Please post it in this thread.

Any of our members who wish to check in and sound off to let us know your family is safe OR anyone who wants to wish the families good thoughts, please post in the California Fires thread.

Thanks!

Heres the first and only ASD resource help I have as of now thanks to the response and fowarded information I received from Unlocking Autism which they received from TACA :

"This is all we have at this time. We are setting up displaced families if they call us.

Many are using shelters or relatives at this time.

Wild Fires in California!
Thousands of families have been evacuated and the fires are far from being
contained.

TACA Families: If you have lost your home or been evacuated (or know a
family affected by autism that has) please contact us
<http://www.talkaboutcuringautism.org/emergency> if you need a place to stay
or any other help!

If your child is a regional center client, be sure to contact your
caseworker for information about emergency housing and food allowances. Find
your regional center <http://www.dds.ca.gov/rc/rclist.cfm>.

Thanks
