What about fibromyalgia?
"Unfortunately, because so little is known about fibromyalgia, many patients are often misdiagnosed. Every year, thousands of fibromyalgia sufferers are actually diagnosed with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disorder."

Payne's Mom39377.5553587963I have mixed connective tissue disease. That is something that they kinda put together because you have some of the symptoms of lupas but no enough. I have Raynauds which is a circulation disorder and when it is cold out my hands and feet turn purple and everybody goes, ewwww! can't do nothing about that just keep them warm. When I was 22 I had alot of joint pain especially in my feet when I would wake up in the morning I could barely walk. I started taking Ansaid which is a Anti-inflammatory. When they tested me my blood showed that my ANA levels were elevated and that my blood was speckled. For some reason all my joint pain went away with age , By the time I was 26 , 27 it was gone. My hands still swell a little. So the only symptoms I have now are the Raynauds (circulation), My ANA is always elevated but no where near where it would be for Lupus. and I have Reflux and Migranes which Auto-immune disorders can cause but it might not be because of that. You have to have 4 symptoms of Lupus to be diagnosed with it. I think one of the main things is a butterfly rash that either goes across your face , meaning your cheeks and nose or on your legs. |
