I’m just soooo upset!  So, I finally get Grace Ann an Attorney!!!! Just a few days ago I finished getting all her records together and sent them to the Attorney! (This Attorney is about 120 miles away). At last, someone is going to help fight the school district for Grace Ann's rights!!! The Attorney is a "Children with Disabilities" Rights Attorney and works for free!!! Can you believe my Hubbys vehicle breaks down so now we only have 1 car - we are DEAD BROKE - I won't be able to take Grace Ann to her school anymore!!! I have no idea how long we will be with just 1 vehicle or how much it is going to take to fix his vehicle........... I'm just so upset!!!! Had to vent!!! is her school public school or private and paid by public school? if so, call an iep, you can put transportation into her actual iep.Yes, transportation is a related service.  She can even have her own bus aide, if there is a good reason for it.  Call and IEP meeting.  If they deny transportation, add that to the list for your atty. I'm so sorry your car broke down.  Our car started making an awful scraping noise in September, and we managed to get it fixed within a couple days, but it's SO much added stress when you have trouble with something as basic as transportation. I hope you can find a solution quickly.   Good luck with everything.
