The conference is November 2nd and is actually in Oak Lawn, Illinois (a southwest suburb of Chicago). Carol Gray of Social Stories will provide a workshop at this one day conference. I will be attending. Also, FYI, I filled out paperwork through ARC of Illinois and they are paying the full $85 for me to attend the conference. It's a stipend set up for families of or persons with disabilities to attend conferences and training seminars. I believe there is a $300 cap per family per year. This is where I found the paperwork to fill out: http://www.thearcofil.org/document.asp?did=35 It was ridiculously easy. I filled out the paperwork and in about 2 weeks they sent me a check.
