Sarah in gymnastics:) | Autism PDD

Wow Shelly.  This is great.  What I found very interesting is that it now seems like Sara had to be taught to do this.  Taught to get up and go. It constantly amazes me the things that our children get all on their own..and what they must be taught.

Good for Sarah...and it must make your heart light.  Your updates always inspire me.  Thank you.

BTW..Sarah's pics are always beautiful...but your new pic is great.  You look wonderful.

Shelly,

I am SO EXCITED that the gymnastics worked out for you.  The pictures are beautiful.  She looks so confident and like she is having so much fun!

Awesome job Sarah! Beautiful pictures!  She looks so big, strong and coordinated (and confident...  and happy)!

Great pics!!

She is doing so great!

Yay Sarah!

That is sooo great!! Gymnastics is a great sport for coordination.  My 13 year old loves it.

Shelley - that is so awesome! I bet it's helping her confidence as well. Go SARAH!

She's doing awesome Shelly.  Ya'll keep up the great work.

shelley

sara is doing sssssoooooooooooooooooooooo  well.

she is doing real good.

She loves it and it is strange but before she started she was so nonactive and not very mobile and now she is all over the place...almost like she had to learn "HOW" to be active:)

She practices doing cartwheels and headstands constantly at home!

I hope I posted the link okay.  I got a new camera that makes video's but she wont let me tape her yet...I am going to have to be sneaky!

WOW those are great!!!! She looks soooo confident. Good for her and you!Another WOW here!  She's doing fantastic!  I'm so bummed
It says the file is no longer available!

J just started gymnastics a couple of weeks ago. It is absolutely amazing
how much I can agree with your assesment that he "had to be taught" how to
do certain things. He is nowhere near cartwheels and handstands, but he
has gone from not being able to figure out anything new to do with his body
(and being totally resistant to new things) to watching-learning visually--
what to do and surprising himself that he can do it at all.

I wanna see the pics of Sarah!!!

OOP!  I must of deleted it on photobucket...Here is the link again:)

Wow! She's doing things i can't even imagine Jasper doing. You should be
so proud and happy for her. Isn't it wonderful to see our kids actually
enjoying being in their own bodies?? GO SARAH!!

Also, I like the sassy sparkly unitard! She's so cute!
