just had to share this story! (pics)

Mamakat, that would be soooo perfect for her!!  Not too many of her drawings stay for a very long time anyway because she makes so many!  So it doesn't have to be very permanent.  I will definitely check that out!  Thanks.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that when dh came home last night and saw her picture he asked if he was allowed and she told him "yes, you're not a boy, you're a Daddy!"

2 cute.. She is a smart cookie.. No stinky boys.. My niece is like that she really thinks there is something wrong with boys.. She is 5 LOL too cuteAs the lone girl in my family, sandwiched between two boys--I LOVE your
daughter's new sign!!!! girl power! get out of my room!!!!

BTW, I found the greatest drawing paper at Target. It's a giant post-it! you
just rip it off the pad and stick it up anywhere--no tape marks. Look closely
at the target brand (some made up name) art supplies. they are labled "self-
sticking" or something like that.

My 4 yr old dd loves to do artsy things.  She is always drawing, painting or gluing something!  And then when she is done she is always asking me to put tape on it so she can hang it up in her room...I have to go in there every couple of weeks to remove and rearrange some of the art work, because there is soooo much taped all over her walls!

So today I was on the phone with Mason's dr and she walks up to me with the roll of tape.  I tore off a few pieces and handed them to her...while I'm doing this she is talking to me about what she drew, but because I was on the phone, I was just nodding away and holding my finger to my lip.  But I caught bits and pieces of "boys" "my room" "keeping out."  So she wanders off to hang her latest masterpiece.

A little while later I go upstairs and see this hanging on her door and start cracking up!  I go downstairs and she explains that she doesn't want stinky boys in her room anymore and this will keep them out!

and this is her, so proud of her work!

Just had to share!
