First IEP/no evals yet | Autism PDD

I have my sons first IEP on November 7, we had our determination meeting at the end of Sept.    Without any long details, my first dealings have been shaky to say the least.  I know that they are overwhelmed and understaffed but instead of admitting it they have been somewhat deceiving to me trying to cover their mistakes.  Staff that I know already admit that they aren't use to families who care or even show up to meetings, much less write letters and so on.

My question is, can I have an IEP meeting without having had any of my childs evals done????  We agreed on psych, speech, and OT and PT.  But nothing yet.  And the nurse hasn't even returned my calls for his physical.

should I be concerned and if so, what do I do????

absolutely! How can you do an IEP without knowing everything he needs??? You need an accurate eval! Unless of course, it is a temporary IEP that can be changed based upon the eval results (if it will take to long to get it done beforehand.)
