So DS has started this new habit that is driving me insane; as he's eating he has to name the color of every piece of food that he is eating. Then I have to repeat the color that he just said. For example, if he is eating raisins, it goes like this: he picks up a raisins and says "That's black, right!", then I have to repeat him or he has a FIT. I have to do that after EVERY SINGLE raisins! It's the same with cereal (and of course when you pour a bowl of cereal, it's about 100 pieces in the bowl!!
I REALLY hope this phase ends soon because it's hard to take. It's to where I'm dreading giving him a meal because I am tied to sitting there repeating colors for half an hour!!
Anyone experience anything like this and any advice??
