Well of course there is the May Institute in Yarmouth

http://www.mayinstitute.org/about_may/default.asp

http://www.cccollaborative.org/

And this last link goes to Mass DOE Site....you can select what type of school you are interested in and they will give you all the differnts towns. etc....click on what you want and it will give you links to all the different sites.

The Boston Globe has doen NUMEROUS articles on Autism and the HUGE impact it is having in the Boston Area.....there are many many families effefcted here and I think you will be happy with the amount of support.

Best of luck...you are moving to a beautiful area !!

I don't know about the Cape's school district, but I know that there is a school for autistic children in Mass, called "new england center for children".  They have a website, too (necc.org).Maybe a call in to them would be helpful for referrals.

Good luck!!  WE LOVE cape cod!!

Hello All

We have a 4 year old son, high functioning on spectrum, currently attending full time preschool with ST/OT. While he has made some gains, he continues to struggle with communication and social pragmatics. Due to employment opportunities we are contemplating a move to the Cape Cod region. Does anyone have any info on school-based programs on Cape Cod?

We thank every one in advance for your responses
