Son thinks he’s a puppy

Well my 2yr old ds thinks he is a dog.  So last night to make matters even better we went to visit my mom.  Both my boys love her house.  He finds one of the dogs old collars that they have put a set of keys on to let the cats play with it.  Well he procceeds to put it around his neck and runs around her house barking like a dog.  The ultimate though was Grandma ordered Pizza for the boys so when I answered the door he started to bark and growl at the pizza man.  The poor pizza man couldn't figure out why we were all laughing so hard. Sound like he has a great imagination!  My pediatrician's son did the same thing.  He even went so far as to pretend to lift his leg on people.    Kids are so funny!Jayden does this every once in a while, he will spill some water on the floor get down on all fours and try to lick it up. He also does it at the dinner table at times. I laugh about it and of course my wife gets mad at me for it. Too funny!  I used to do this as a child too.  In fact, in a lot of pictures from when I was young, I am holding my "paws" up like a dog begging and my tongue is out like a dog panting.  Interestingly enough, my NT son does this now, without ever seeing any of my childhood pictures.  Genetics are fun! Nicholas is always a dinosaur, boy can he be loud.2funny

LOL  ... Nicky becomes a dog from time to time as well ... it's cute!

my daughter a horse and she knocked me over. I'm not very tall Soooooo cute

My dd used to do that last year...It all went away when we got our puppy in January!

But many people coming to the door and my dd would be there barking at them...I thought it was cute at first, but got kind of sick of it after awhile, that's when dh talked me into getting a puppy, lol.

Can I merge this with Pangle's "puppy" thread?

My son used to go around pretending to be a dog named Ruff. He out grew it, but we still sometimes tease him about it - that Ruff obeyed better than he does sometimes, and we wouldn’t mind another visit from Ruff.

LOL! My nephew thought he was a cat, he licked everyone. That got a little interesting to explain. LOL!
