These are all fantastic ideas. I got a kick out of the visual of even our more high functioning kids losing it because of the stange environment and even starnger looking people. i could just see been screaming and spinning and looking wild -eyed and perhaps diving under the nearest chair at the site of secret service people trying to get him to come out.. This would marvelous. Then let's hear them say it (autism) doesn't exist. I love it!michelle my sons class made 800 ribbons in april and distributed them out to people in their community. putting them on christmas packages is a good idea and one the class may get into since they have a system all worked out. thanks

Cool ideas. I know I could do a lot more (anything) to promote Autism Awareness. We ought to be good to go with that when the time comes if we keep it in mind. We do ROCK here. I brag about all of you to everyone. We could really do something to make a difference. Maybe we should take our kids and march on the White House. Million Man march would be joke compared to hundreds of thouands autistic children overtaking the capitol!! We'll get together and bring in the overseas people and then we can all go there to their politicians!!

Unlocking Autism has had a Autism Rally in Washington DC every year in April for the past 5 years I believe it is - except for this year (Probably because of the mercury is stupid campaign) check out their site www.unlockingautism.org
