We just started Michael on Focalin XR today as recommended by his pediatrician per our consultation and conference w/ his teachers. He started the 5 mg dosage. How long does it take to see results from these types of things? I haven't noticed a single thing different in him today. Will it take a few days, weeks, etc.?

You should see the medication take effect withing an hour...perhaps the dose is too low. My adhd son has taken stimulants before and they work quickly 1/2 hour to one hour.
