I was reading excerpt from this book www.ImpossibleCure.com and I realize I don't know a thing about homeopathy or know anyone who's used it. I figure this place is my best source to get direct account.

Overall...I WAS reasonably impressed with their approach. I started doing SOME of the stuff they suggested...not all since we do medicate Payne still, but the 2 really helped hand in hand.

Has anyone here consulted with an Homeopath practictioner? Any positive result? what is it about? What is the approach of this speciality towards autism. Just curious don't know much about this field. Thanks for your responses.

The dr that I consulted with was natural...about cleansing....diet adaptations...natural remedies (as you might have gathered) - was mostly about the 'whole' kid not just the 'head' thing...KWIM?

Does insurance cover it. Is it a recognized field by the medical profession?

Ours does...our psychiatrist actually thought it was a REALLY good idea. He is open to anything that will or might possibly help our kid (within reason of course)

My best friend does homeopathy with her family. She does phone consultations with a well known american Dr who specializes in treating ASD's They have no dx of ASD yet but mom suspects youngest son and is seeking a dx next month.

I have known these children for 3 yrs and have seen them pre and post homeopathic remedy treatments ( and GFCF diet of organic foods). To be honest, I was truly hoping to see a dramatic improvement in the kids. I can't say that I've noticed any real difference, and certainly not an improvement that is worth the thousands she has spent on her family to date.IMHO.

I have used some homeopathic remedies on myself ( I just pick them up at the health store) and I have great sucess with the one for vaginitis (can't believe I'm sharing that info
