Pecs for potty training? | Autism PDD

Candy, I made my DS a social story. It was home made using pictures of him and pictures of a commode, toilet paper and pictures from the package of potty time with bear. He loves his book, but he still isnt potty trained.....We sit lovey bear on the big boy potty chair every day. Oh, I found a book at the dollar store, called My potty book (there was one for boys and one for girls) he doesnt like it at all and I am so glad it only cost a dollar. So far he will not even look at it. I think my DS does understand about using the potty chair, but he either isnt ready to do it himself or he doesnt want to use it himself, or a combo of the two.

I was wondering if anyone on here has used pecs for potty training? Leo's teacher has suggested doing that since Leo still has communication problems and did well with pecs before. I was wondering if anyone has had success with it, and how did you us it to achieve success? Thanks
