Just Bragging | Autism PDD

Please indulge me, I am a grandmother to Jacob who is 2 and has autism. I am so amazed at Jacobs behaviour at times. He has a write on then erase board that he plays with. While visiting one day he bought it to me and I said okay Nanna will draw you apicture. I started to draw big beach balls and Jacob furiously shook his head no and started to jump up and down. My daughter said Mum you have to write his name he doesnt want you to draw anything else. So I wrote his named which he studied for a minute, then erased it and said AGAIN. This went on for little longer and I decided to write a couple of the letters in the wrong sequence he immediately shook his head no and yelled . I was really impressed, so then later as he was watching tv I wrote his name on a few pieces of paper and placed them on the floor in the kitchen and stairs. I watched as Jacob found them and  he would lay down next to them and smile and point to each letter then go on his way. My other 6 grandchildren never really cared about heir name at the age of 2 being written anywhere,so Jacob has talents that I am proud of and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.
