Wacky Laughing | Autism PDD

My son does this occasionally.  The laughing is sometimes accompanied by phrases that I recognize from school.  He is reliving something funny that happened from his day.  From the notes that his teachers send home, my son finds a lot of things at school to be amusing.  my daughter does it, too....for her....it is a stim.

I know this has been discussed before, but since it is happening right at this moment I had to post.

Nick is laying on the couch next to me, hysterically laughing, for no apparent reason!

He's been laughing in long spurts now for about 15 minutes!  What on earth could he be laughing about?

Maybe hes just thinking about something funny ill be like that at work sometimes and have a funny image or thought sneak into my head and start snickering

of course then i have to explain i saw something funny on tv so that way they dont think im nuts

think that could be it? or do you think he may just have the giggles ?My son used to laugh hysterically during his sleep when he younger.  I used to wonder if he was dreaming about something he found funny or was it something else???

I can remember doing this as a kid.

It just feels good!  Join in!

Hi! My son does this too. I think it is so cute!! I questioned about it on another forum and was told it was an indicator he had yeast in the gut. On www.danasview.net/yeast.htm it has so much information. My son has all the symptoms. The best test I was told to indicate yeast is the OAT ( organic acid test) off the Great Plain Labs website. His stool came back negative for yeast at his regular doctor office but many do. I am going to get him tested soon through that test.

My son does this. I hate to say it, but he sounds like a braying donkey at times! He tends to do it when he's excited about something. My son does this; he looks so cute that I have to start laughing too!!  We laugh together!
