Hi, I live in Centre County PA...Penn State area actually. Unfortunately, I can't find any local support groups that are up and running. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that knows of one. OR if someone is knowledgable in how to start one up. Any help is greatly appreciated. I love living in this area, great services for the kids, but looking for more suport for parents and families. ThanksI started my own support group at my home and invited the parents of other special ed kids I knew. This was back in 1996. We met monthly for 10 years until our kids became teens. Many of us are now lifelong friends.Thank you tzoya. I really think that is what I am going to do.
