I've taken it three times now. This last time he was a 90
Be curious to know where everyone's kids ended up on that assessment. I
gave our son a 92, but my wife gave him a 52, so I guess he's at about
72. :)
That was the assessment that launched me into full realization that we
weren't dealing with just the terrible twos... what an awful morning
that was...
Wow, I just scored him at 57, 35 points lower than I did two weeks ago.
He must either be improving, or I must have a more level head now.
I haven't done it in awhile either. I just scored Elliot at 56.
i did keith and he was 160+ severe!
kameron came out 55, mild.
do you think kamerons score is worth pursuing?
check my siggy, he is the 7 year old, add, repeated kindergarten.
keith has an appt with the neurologist next month, maybe i should take kam too

wow i just did my son 3.5 autism he come up with a score of 182 severe.
I'm at work right now so I can't remember ds's exact score on the childbrain pdd-nos test. I think it was 122 or 127. It has changed a little every time I've taken it as he changes.

Yes this is a well known site here :-) I've taken and retaken that test about 3 times lol. It is listed in one of our 1st posts above under Newbies which has TONS of helpful info. Thank you for posting this for us though!

childbrain.com. it has tons of info about Autism/PDD. it evn has a questionnaire to help assess the level of difficulty= PDD your child may have. even if you do not have a formal dx yet, you could do the assessment, and print it and take it in to your dr.....
hope this helps.

Yup- I've done the test several times. DS is about a 95.
Nicky's scored 176.
Living day to day with him and living with the bulk of the behaviour all the time, I never considered him "severe"(although my friends could say otherwise...).
I'll be taking this list to his next appointment with the developmental specialist; it sure covers a lot of the spectrum.
Just got a wake up call, big time...
I had done my Adam a while ago. Just did him again and got a 142. Of course some days are better than others. It could change. My son is considered high functioning and he got a 133. Though at least the test says PDD NOS now instead of Autism. You think they are doing so well and then something brings you up short.
.
Luckily it wasn't too bad but of course he will tell everyone at school
I beat him up. I am not looking forward to the fallout from this one.I've never done that one. Paul came out at 99. That would more or less where I'd put him. There is so much stuff he doesn't do now or does so much less.
Very interesting.
