Checking In... | Autism PDD

Its been a while since i posted, so i thought i would check in and give an update.

     Nick is now in middle school in the 7th grade. His transistion went flawlessly. He is so much happier in this new school, its such a turn around from last year. He looks forward to school now instead of looking for weekends and vacation time. He had no trouble AT ALL adjusting to the earlier wake up time. He rides a van to school, because he is the only special ed middle schooler where we live. So, he gets heat and music and soft comfy seats :D He also gets home a LOT earlier than last year which i LOVE, because it gives me more time to interact with him. Oh, get this.. last year he was riding the bus 14 1/2 hours a week.. this year, its only 5 hours a week! how awesome is that. I love his new teacher, she seems to really care about him. His old one was really just not our favorite. Well, sorry to ramble, just thought i would say hello. :)

It's nice to see you! I'm glad to hear that Nick is happy with school this year.Great news.  Glad to see you.That is wonderfull.  We transitioned to 7th grade also.  I am so happy to hear that Nick is doing so well.
