I have a 9 months old son and a 3yrs old son w/autism. I asked my ped about getting a single shot for my baby every month. She said yes however she could not get the MMR shot seperated (She once asked the pharmarceutical company 3 years ago ) However she said if she could have the MMR seperated she could not use the them so i said if it was the case I might pay for them. Please share your knowledge

Hi Sarah I was trying to find the info I had about buying it seperately but the link no longer works ASk your pediatrician to check with Merck though. Let us know if you find anything out. Good Luck.An alternative might be to just delay getting the MMR for your child. If our pediatrician cannot get the shots separated, then that's what we'll be doing.Figured that I would post this here. Thanks to michelle for posting that site with the mercury Calculator. Because of that post I was able to know the brand to ask for in the hospital for my baby. His shot was delayed by 2 days until they were able to somehow just look on the box that the vial came in to determine that it was infact made by Merck which is the company that has the hep B without thermisol. Anyway Just wanted to say thank you michelle and since this was a immunization thread I thought that I would put it here.
