What state do you you live in and what services are being provided for your
son? He may do better with behavioral intervention services. Alot of times
our kids need to learn certain skills before they can attend in a large
classroom and take direction. My son has had behavioral intervention since
he was 2.5 yrs and he too is in Kindergarten. He has support at school to
make sure that he is attending and taking direction from the teacher. We
also work of specific skills at home. I know that services vary from state to
state. There may be someone on this board that may be familiar with
services in your area.
this is just one opinion, this doctor doesn't recommend meds until behavior plans and such are in place.
