That is awesome.  Gives me hope for my ds.  I will jump over the moon when that happens for ds.  Thanks for sharing.

That is outstanding!  HUGE step.  I'm so excited for you guys!

As many of you know Adam's biggest problem, (other than academics) is social.  He has never talked to anyone more than once.  Well HE MADE A FRIEND

It is a boy in his reading class.  They sit together at lunch everyday, and even exchanged phone numbers. I know he talks to A, because he knows things about him.  Normally, he will just talk about his SIMS 2 games.    I am so proud of him.  He is in 7th grade and has never sat with anyone at lunch before this.

There is nothing like having a friend to sit and talk to in school.  I am so happy for him.  You to, because it must fill you heart with pride.Excellent!  I'm so happy for him. That is wonderful. Lunch with a buddy is a big deal.heh, great! I bet he will gain skills from that and as he gets older he may get better in the social arena. I must admit, im not 100%, and never will be, but I do good enough, so I can be mostly satisfied. I bet hell do just fine, even better with age.

Awsome! I still beleive their is no real way to teach socalizaizion, one must understand its nessessity (perhapse even later in life) and learn it themselfs. Woo Hoo! thats fantastic brought tears to my eyes!

One small step...leads to other small steps!  That has to feel SOOO good in your heart to know he has a friend.  And it has to feel so wonderful for Andrew.

Tears of joy are streamng down my face.

That's so incredibly awesome!

Thanks everyone.  It is such a huge step for him.

You are the only ones that can really appreciate how big it is.

Awesome! What a great step and now he is beginning to know what friendship is like - so perhaps he'll eventually seek out more - that is HUGE!Hats off to Adam!!!!!
