I think they do think the words sometimes--foxl.

His language is really increasing significanlty this year. He can be prompted to say most anything. However, this time I really felt the connection from him and this was not a phrase I tried to teach him. So, it felt genuine. We are getting much more generalized and natural language all of the sudden.

So many times, when T was preverbal, I wondered if she was THINKING the words; I mean thinking in language -- I was certain that she was.

Flip. That is so wonderful for you...as a Mom. But how wonderful for your son to be able to express himself this way? It sounds like he is comfortable in his own skin...how can you get better than that?
