I am just curious.
My son had a very bad bout of Hands, Foot, Mouth disease when he was an infant, about 5 months old. The doctor told me it was fairly common among babies in daycare. He had very high fever and all kinds of the horrible symptoms. I took him to the ER twice in a few days, I was so worried about him. I remember they took x rays and ran all kinds of tests. I was just curious, did anyone else's child have this as a baby (or after too?)

He started all the seizures and autism symptoms at 15 mo.
I had never even heard of this until the outbreak in the UK.
No, neither of my kids ever had it. But, someone in the nursery at the gym I used to work out at had it - when I was pregnant with dd and so I had to keep ds out of there for 3 weeks. Because if a pregnant mom gets it, I believe there ia up to a 10% fatality rate in terms of miscarriages for the baby. Before I state this as fact - I am almost sure that this was the disease, but not 100% sure!
